LanFam is short for Lanzieri family.
We’re Fabio, Maria, and Cristina. We make one formula, born at our kitchen table, because the person it was made for sits at our table. This is the story — and the standard it left us with.
- 40
- years in pharmaceuticals
- 13
- standardized actives
- 1
- family standard

01 — Maria
It started with one person.
Maria Lanzieri is a breast cancer survivor. The estrogen-blocking medication that keeps her cancer from coming back — one she’ll take for years — came with a cost of its own: joint pain and stiffness that settled into every morning, and a kind of tired that sleep didn’t fix.
The treatment saved her life. It also made it hard to live.
02 — The gap
The options ran out fast.
Her doctors offered what they had — over-the-counter pain relievers, taken daily, indefinitely. But daily NSAIDs were never built for a ten-year horizon, and everyone in the room knew it.
Modern medicine is extraordinary in an emergency. The gap is the day-to-day rebuild — the years after the clinic, at home, where you’re supposed to just manage. Maria was living in that gap.
03 — The kitchen table
So Fabio went back to the research.
Fabio had spent nearly 40 years in pharmaceuticals. He did the only thing he knew how to do — he read. Pharmaceutical options, botanical options, everything in between. Nothing addressed the inflammatory response as the whole, interconnected system it is.
So he started building one himself, at the kitchen table, for an audience of one. The question was never whether it would sell. The question was whether it would help Maria.
04 — Into the lab
Then he pushed it into the lab.
That kitchen-table formula became Complete Inflammation Support, powered by ProleevaMax — thirteen standardized actives working across six pathways to support a healthy inflammatory response.*
It went from one person to a human evaluation: pain intensity decreased on the McGill Pain Questionnaire at 8 weeks (p = 0.042).† And every formulation decision still has to pass the test it was born from — would we give this to Maria?
“He made something for one person at a kitchen table — and pushed it into the lab for everyone else.”
The family standard
“If we wouldn’t give it to our own, we won’t make it.”
That isn’t a slogan — it’s the test every batch and every formulation decision has to pass, because the first person it was made for still takes it every day. Here’s what the standard means in practice.
- We take what we make
- Maria has taken the formula since it existed — the 90-day protocol on the label is the one she follows at home.
- Standardized extracts only
- Every active is standardized to a verified potency, so the bottle you open matches the research it’s built on.
- Every dose on the label
- No proprietary blends. All thirteen actives are listed with their exact amounts — nothing to take on faith.
- Third-party tested, made in the USA
- Each batch is independently tested in cGMP facilities before it ships to anyone’s table — ours included.
The family
Three Lanzieris, one table.
Everything on this site is written by someone who lives it — the science from Fabio, daily life from Maria, and what comes next from Cristina.

Father
Fabio Lanzieri
Co-founder & CEO
Fabio Lanzieri spent 40 years inside the pharmaceutical industry before founding LanFam Health with his wife Maria and daughter Cristina. When Maria's breast-cancer recovery left her dependent on estrogen-blocking medication and chronic pain that doctors could only address with daily NSAIDs, Fabio went looking for an alternative. Pharma didn't have one. Non-pharma didn't address root cause. So he built one — at their kitchen table. The result became ProleevaMax, a synergistic formulation targeting six inflammatory pathways with 13 standardized ingredients. Every formulation decision still passes Fabio's family standard: if we wouldn't give it to our own, we won't make it. Fabio's writing covers the mechanism science behind chronic inflammation — NF-κB, COX-2, NLRP3, the gut-brain axis, and how individual compounds modulate them. He writes the way he explains things at the dinner table: warmth first, then the science. What Fabio writes about Chronic inflammation as a root cause across joint pain, neuroinflammation, metabolic dysfunction, and aging The 6-pathway framework — how inflammation goes from acute and protective to chronic and corrosive Individual compounds (curcumin, boswellia, resveratrol, panax ginseng, L-glutamine) and how they modulate inflammatory pathways NSAID alternatives — what 40 years of pharmaceutical research has and hasn't proven about long-term use

Mother
Maria Lanzieri
Co-founder & CFO
Maria Lanzieri is the reason LanFam Health exists. After surviving breast cancer, she was put on estrogen-blocking medication that left her with chronic pain. The only daily option her doctors offered was NSAIDs — unsafe for ten-plus years of continuous use. Her husband Fabio, with 40 years in pharmaceuticals, searched every option and found nothing that addressed root cause. So he started building one at their kitchen table. That formulation became ProleevaMax. Maria was the first person to take it. She still is. Maria writes about life on the other side of a hard recovery — what works, what doesn't, the recipes she's actually making, the routines that fit around a real day. Her health history is the foundation of the brand, but her content is lifestyle, not illness. She writes the way she'd write to a friend: warm, practical, specific. What Maria writes about Anti-inflammatory recipes and food routines Daily living through chronic pain and recovery Practical lifestyle adjustments — sleep, movement, breath, food, supplementation rhythm The Active Ager perspective — staying mobile and engaged after 50 The personal angle on the LanFam origin story

Daughter
Cristina Lanzieri
EVP of Sales & Marketing
Cristina Lanzieri is the next generation of the family company. She joined LanFam Health to bridge the founders' lived experience and pharmaceutical depth with how a modern audience actually finds, evaluates, and uses health products today. She runs Sales and Marketing, but her content identity is broader — she's the voice for everything that pulls the LanFam mission forward. Where her father Fabio writes about mechanism and her mother Maria writes about life-on-the-other-side, Cristina writes about what's next: recovery programs, cervical wellness, daily function, and the under-50 angle on supplementation. What Cristina writes about Cervical wellness and recovery programs The under-50 lens on chronic inflammation and supplementation Daily function and consistency — the part of wellness that's about showing up Modern wellness landscape — what's hype, what's signal, what's worth attention The forward-looking side of the LanFam mission
